Leading South Yorkshire dementia charity Lost Chord is hosting a special evening of entertainment at Rotherham’s Carlton Park Hotel on September 29.
The Casino Royale event begins at 7.00pm and as well as a chance to enjoy a game of chance there will also be a pie and pea supper and Country and Western music from entertainer Pete Jones.
Hosted by Malty (Rother Valley) Lions Club, tickets cost £15 with concessions also available and includes the cost of playing on all the gaming tables.
“We really want to make this an evening that is good fun for both people living with dementia and their carers,” said Lost Chord Chief Executive Helena Muller.
“So often, because of the demands of providing so much support, carers and the people they are caring for rarely get the chance to go out together in the evening and we feel that this event, with its relaxed environment, good food and live entertainment should be the perfect antidote to the pressures of everyday life.”
