Rotherham IT engineer Richard Clarkson has achieved his goal to achieve a new badminton world record. Richard, 28, who works for Sheffield solicitors Graysons WE, took part in a non-stop badminton marathon on 22nd October in a bid to beat the existing world record for the ‘longest marathon playing badminton – doubles’, which stood at 28 hours and 37 seconds and was created last year in the Netherlands.
